buttons

It's a mix between a traditional technique used for centuries-- crochet, and a touch of modernity—the ability to adorn each cuff with different buttons that are produced from all over the world (i.e. India, Taiwan, Italy, France, Germany, Portugal, Poland).

What makes cuffs so unique?

Not only is each button made in a different location, but how often do we, like a lost pair to a sock, stash or throw away buttons that have fallen off of a piece of clothing? How often do we tie a memory to that piece of clothing? I.e. your lucky shirt you wore to win the state championships; your first prom dress; that “lucky” black dress that always seems to turn heads; the shirt you were wearing when you got your first kiss; your favorite pair of jeans that always seem to fit just right; the dress you walked down the aisle in…

Noticeable or not, a lot of these memorable pieces are adorned with buttons…thus every button, like every cuff, is unique and tells its own story.
